Italian Cooking Course for All Levels
To enable students to cook basic Italian dishes like pasta, pizza, and Italian desserts.
6 Weeks (1 session per week, 2 hours per session)

Week 1
Fundamentals of Italian Cooking
In the first week, you will learn the essential basics of Italian cooking. This includes selecting fresh, high-quality ingredients, mastering preparation techniques, and using kitchen tools correctly. You'll also make basic sauces like tomato sauce, pesto, and Alfredo. Additionally, you will be introduced to Italian culinary culture and learn how to set a traditional Italian table.

Week 2
Making Pasta and Pasta Sauces
In the second week, you will learn how to make homemade pasta from scratch, including kneading the dough, rolling it out, and cutting it into various shapes like spaghetti, fettuccine, and ravioli. Additionally, you'll practice making popular pasta sauces such as Bolognese, Carbonara, and Pesto, ensuring you can pair your pasta with the perfect sauce to create delicious dishes.

Week 3
Pizza Making
This week, you will dive into the art of making authentic Italian pizza. You'll start by learning how to create homemade pizza dough, from selecting the ingredients, kneading the dough, to rolling it into the perfect pizza base. Next, you will master making classic pizza sauce and selecting toppings, whether it's a traditional Margherita or a savory Pepperoni. You’ll get hands-on experience crafting your own pizza and baking it to achieve the perfect crispy outside and soft inside, just like in a top pizzeria.

Week 4
Italian Desserts like Tiramisu
In the final week of the course, you will learn how to make classic Italian desserts, starting with Tiramisu, the perfect balance of coffee, mascarpone cheese, and cocoa. You'll also explore other Italian treats like Panna Cotta and Gelato. Learn the techniques to balance flavors and textures to create desserts that turn out perfect every time. End your journey into Italian cuisine with desserts made from the heart and your own skills.

Week 5
Choosing Ingredients and Preparing Italian Menus
This week, you will delve into the importance of selecting the best ingredients for Italian dishes. You’ll start by familiarizing yourself with key Italian ingredients such as tomatoes, cheeses, olive oil, and fresh herbs. Learn how to source high-quality ingredients and the techniques to prepare them to preserve maximum flavor and freshness. Additionally, you will gain insights into professional menu planning, focusing on balancing flavors and components. You will also learn plating techniques to beautifully present your dishes, making them perfect for any special occasion.

Week 6
Recap and Full Italian Meal Preparation
In the final week of the course, we will recap everything you’ve learned over the past 5 weeks, from pasta and sauces to pizza, desserts, ingredient selection, and menu planning. You’ll then put all your skills to the test by preparing a full Italian meal, from appetizers to main courses and desserts. You’ll also learn professional table setting and serving techniques, ensuring you can confidently create a special Italian dining experience at home.
